2025 was the year of our first Show Jam, our first Jibber Jabber Jam, our first improv workshop from a traveling improv master, our first improv intermediate session and our first Sessão aberta in portuguese. I mean, we really worked a lot in 2025. It would all be for nothing without the people who came to our Open Sessions, and we had so many.
That’s why, like in 2024, I now feel immensely grateful to the teachers, the regulars, and the newbies, who made Improv Lisboa bigger, more welcoming, much more fun in 2025.
Now, looking ahead, I see Improv Lisboa being even better in 2026. I see our Jibber Jabber Jams and our Show Jams happening regularly, which will allow more people the possibility to shine on stage or enjoy from the audience. I see our portuguese sessions getting off the ground and matching the success of our english sessions, so both can promote improv in Lisboa. I see more improv groups formed from our wonderful community, which we’ll nurture and showcase in our Show Jams. I also see more ways for you, oh joyful newbie, to find in Improv Lisboa the learning sessions for you to take your improv to an advanced level.
