Hannibal, the historical improv

The general was undefeated. His city was not. As the First Punic War closed, Hamilcar Barca stood in the wreckage of a peace he didn’t want. With a heart full of resentment and a nine-year-old son at his side, he traded the chaotic streets of a war-torn Carthage for the wilds of Iberia, where silver flowed and fighting tribes resisted.

Our workshop at BUS dove headfirst into the sequel. From the perspectives of the unsung like the dock workers seeing off Hannibal to the soldiers exhausted after a battle, we navigated a world at its breaking point. Tension brimmed. Glory beckoned.

We arrived at the legendary face-off between Scipio Africanus and Hannibal. Did we rewrite history with a handshake, or seal it with a sword?
